& Conditions:
La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa, requires a 60 day cancellation
notice for holiday reservations and 40-day cancellation notice for non-holiday,
in order to receive a refund. December 18th through the first week of
January is considered a holiday reservation. There is a 15% cancellation
fee for all cancellations. Reservation refunds will be returned within
40 days. If this reservation is made within 40-days of arrival (60-days
for holiday reservations), it is a non-cancellable reservation. Acceptance
of these terms and conditions constitutes a binding contractual Rental
Agreement. By making this online reservation you acknowledge that payment
in full is due upon completing the reservation. In the event La Villa
Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa has not received payment in full within
seven days of this online reservation, the reservation will be void. All
cancellations must be in writing and emailed to reservations@bigbearvilla.com.
Upon receipt of your cancellation request you will receive a written notification
of acceptance. Bt accepting these terms you further acknowledge that should
for any reason this reservation is not used, you will still be charged
in full for the time reserved, and a refund will not be granted. Should
you need to cancel this reservation within the 60 day period for holiday
reservations or 45 day period for non holiday reservations that do not
qualify for a refund, La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa offers
a Raincheck Program. The reservation can be exchanged for other dates
provided those dates are available. There are no refunds available on
reservations that qualify for our Raincheck Program. My acceptance of
the terms and conditions you acknowledge that La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine
Big Bear Villa is not Handicap Accessible.
eCheck
Policy:
In addition to the above terms and conditions, payments made by eCheck
are subject to the following additional terms. There is an official seven
day clearing period prior to finalizing your reservation to ensure that
you eCheck does indeed clear your bank. Even though you have received
a reservation confirmation number, this reservation is still pending the
clearance of your check. Once your eCheck payment has cleared, you will
receive an official Reservation Confirmation via email, as well as addition
details and instructions for your arrival and check-in at our rental management
office in Big Bear.
Check-in
Policy:
24 hour Check-In is available for our cabin. Check-In time: is 3:00 PM.
Special arrangements can be made for an earlier check-in, provided that
all prior occupants left on time and all necessary cleaning and repairs
have been completed. Check-Out time is
11:00 AM. Special arrangements can be made for later Check-Outs, provided
there is no conflict with back to back Check-In. There is a $20.00 additional
charge per person, per night for each additional guest. Children 12 years
and older are considered adults and the $20.00 fee is applicable. There
is no charge for children under 12 years old. There is 8.5% tax in Big
Bear. There is 12% Gas Surcharge in the winter months. Rental Charge is
based on the original number of guests and the original number of nights
booked into the property. There is no refund for fewer guests or nights.
Minimum
Night Stays:
A following minimum nights stays apply for Holiday Weekends including
Martin Luther King Day (3 night minimum), Presidents Day (3 night minimum),
Memorial Day (3 night minimum), Independence Day (4 night minimum), Labor
Day (4 night minimum), Thanksgiving (4 night minimum), Christmas (5 night
minimum), New Years (5 night minimum). Please note that online bookings
may be canceled if the minimum stay requirements are not met.
Security/Cleaning
Deposit:
A security/cleaning deposit is required at La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine
Big Bear Villa. The deposit will be refunded within 10 days of departure
provided that the property was left in reasonable condition as outlined
in the Security Deposit Agreement, which must be signed upon Check-In.
The Credit Card Holder that signs Security Deposit Agreement and their
guests are 100% responsible for any damage to the property.
La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa is rented with the understanding that you will leave the cabin at check out in the same condition as when you checked in. La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa will not charge for normal cleaning. If La Villa Del Lago needs extra cleaning due to the property not being left in the in satisfactory condition, then an extra amount will be deducted from the security/cleaning deposit. All charges are outlined in the Security Deposit Requirement Agreement signed upon Check In.
Pets are welcome in our cabin with an addition fee of $10.00 per night, per pet. Undisclosed pets will cause a full forfeiture of you security/cleaning deposit.
Any check returned unpaid by the bank will result in NSF charge of 3 times the amount of the written check with a minimum fee of $150.00.
La
Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa is privately owned and La Villa
Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa and Management reserve the right to
refuse service to anyone. La Villa Del Lago AKA Alpine Big Bear Villa
has maximum occupancy of 16 people. You must register how many guests
will be occupying the property at check in. Undisclosed guests will result
in eviction with no refund and complete forfeiture of your security/cleaning
deposit. Guest disturbing the quiet of others will be evicted with no
refund due. La Villa Del Lago and Management will not be responsible for
accidents, injuries, and loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
